A new song by Quivers featuring Bella on lead vocals. Something darker and more open. While the bass and drums burn, and arpeggiated guitars scatter, Bella sings about longing for someone at the wrong time.
Bella says “it felt good to make a 7” which is a pop song but a really confused one, where every line goes back and forth between different feelings - more like love is in reality.” Don’t let it get into your lungs, she sings as the song lets too much into its lungs and just coughs up more guitars and tape loops.
lyrics
If only I could win you over
If only I could win
But I don’t wanna lose this losing streak
All the movies and the songs
Have romance all wrong
Don’t let it get into your lungs
If only I could make you love me
Before you move overseas
What a fucked up thing to want
Love should just be
It’s there or it’s not
Let romance rot
Don’t let it get into your lungs
La la la
la la la la
la la la la
Don’t let it get into your lungs
La la la
la la la la
la la la la
Don’t let it get into your lungs
If only I could call you baby
But you will never be my baby
If only I could call you baby
But you will never be my baby
All the movies and the songs
Have romance all wrong
Don’t let it get into your lungs
La la la
la la la la
la la la la
Don’t let it get into your lungs
La la la
la la la la
la la la la
Don’t let it get into your lungs

A world of songs we want to live inside. Proper drive your first car music. Or any car. Touring the West Coast of the USA with them in late Sept/early Oct also! Quivers
"I used to love you" is an all time song. "Alexandria" too. We put our heads in the sand sometimes thinking of bands and past years when the best things are now. The river just keeps rivering. Quivers
